Any reproductions with Nuday tools

Gentlemen, and ladies,
I posted down below on the Ford floor, and figured I would circulate it a bit more. Anywho, anyone have drawings, a lathe, and mill and would like to reproduce some of the Nuday tools? I think I asked this back in the late 90s and interest did not seem to exist.

One in particular I am looking for now is the Nuday tool SW 520 for installing the rear seal for the crank. I know there are other ways, but this is straight-forward, with what looks to be minimal opportunity for screw-up.

I would be interested in getting other tools as well for the later 4000 diesels and lift cover, etc.

Thank you in advance,
George

It would be a lot of fun but I'd really want a drawing. For instance the gauge that positions the lift arm when adjusting the linkages would be nice to have.

I do not know if I have this tool or not. I will have to look tomorrow. I have installed dozens of rear main seals on Fords and have never used a tool. That is the reason I don't know if I have one. I have almost all the Newday tools from the 8n's all the way up through the 10 series tractors. A lot of them, I have never needed. I have 2 complete clutch fixture setups that I rarely use. Tools for the Hydraulic pumps etc. A local Ford dealer went out of business and I was lucky enough to get the tools and all the parts manuals.

This would be for a 73' 4000 diesel.

I know there are plenty of ways to install the seal without the tools, however, I am a cluster and can be clumsy and I may get it on the first, or after I had to buy and wait for the part again because I mangled it. I am perfectly capable of trashing a perfectly good part, fixing another and then the part I break is actually very expensive/hard to find.....

I like having the correct tools and such, it seems to mitigate some of my bad luck and fuster cluck tendencies..... excuse the thin veneer for the foul language.

Hi hobo,
Looks like some good work. I read the comments on the muffler/exhaust in that thread, don't know if you have resolved it,
and I have the same dislike. The exhaust/muffler on my 4000 when I got it was a one piece unit with a ceramic type glaze and
lasted a long time. (Some one) using the tractor would hit branches brush cutting or whatnot and bend it and after several
bends, broke. It had a bit of rust too from being outside. So I looked for a replacement like it and they were all multiple
parts and would need clamps. YT has the one-piece unit and some others for about $50 or a bit more. I like it much better,
however, these do not have the black ceramic type glaze or whatever it was so I am looking for a way to coat it with that
before I use it.

If anyone knows what that hard ceramic/enamel coating is, holler,

George

Welding Man,
Would you be willing to help me with the NuDay HG-100 set for the 8N? A drawing with the dimensions would be nice. Even better would me being able to buy it from you.

That has got to be nice to be able to make your own. I have to either hope my brother in law can help or pay a shop to do it.
