Hello,

I wanted to test my log splitter pump pressure, so I dug out the pile to find what I needed. I forgot how many I have accumulated and made up for different pressures.
Here is most of them.............

Yeah, I have a bit of a collection like that too. But did you find one that went to a high enough pressure to check your pump?

I needed a good gauge for the company in the mid-70's; after some research I found a round gauge about 6-7 inch diameter, that had a couple smaller gauges in the face for other options. The high pressure gauge was on the main needle. The gauges were oil-filled gauges, which I have been told is the most reliable gauge for hydraulics. Carried that gauge in my suitcase back and forth across the country until I finally got the dealers using a similar gauge to set various pressures on the machines.

Hello 4wdtom,

Yes, I think the one I used was a 4k gauge. The highest pressure gauge in that bunch is a 15.000psi one.

Hello drsportster,
I'm sure I can round up more. I guess it is showing that I have been collecting for awhile!
