Spent my christmas gift certificates

Spent my christmas gift cards today, along with a significant amount of additional cash, and got me a new tool. This cordless electric impact wrench from Milwaukee. 1100 foot pounds of torque. Kinda anxious to try it out.

Got my Dewalt 18V cordless impact close to 10 years ago, and have used, and used, and used it. Guessing yours will have quite a bit more torque than mine, but they're an incredibly handy tool and you'll find yourself reaching for it more and more. Mine's all but put my air impact(s) and cordless drill(s) out to pasture for everything but specialized jobs like driving roofing screws or actual drilling where I can't string a cord or it won't fit in the mill or drill press.

your going to love that thing. we got one at work ,then I bought one mainly for putting duals on , no more 3/4 breaker bars , and under powered impacts

Wish you'd have been around the other day- took a rear rim from a Massey 135 to a guy to get the 6 bolts off that hold it to the center section. Must have taken him all of 2 minutes- 80 bucks! Les Schwab, the local tire outfit, would have probably charged me about 15. Live and learn, I guess.

your getting lazy lol, ive had a dewalt about 15 yrs ago that the batteries went bad , picked up a 3/4 electric dewalt on ebay , loved that even more couldn't believe the torq , then the electric came up with burned out armature would cost 260$ to fix last fall Milwaukee had a trade in special so I picked up a Fuel 1/2 , wow that is impressive I switched out a set of duals off of one tractor to another out in the field last fall with it , probably didn't take 1/2 hour , you will love it it could outdo or at least keep up with the 3/4 dewalt electric or even the 3/4 Chicaco Pnumatic I have , I must not have enough air to the air gun , you will love it

jon;
How about a follow up post when you get to put it through a good trial run. That's the same model I've been contemplating ordering. A lot more umph (supposedly) than my best half inch air impact. BTW - You can get a 5.0 battery for longer run time.

hope better luck than i had yesterday with brand new sawsall heaviast model i could by got whole half hour out of it, blade pin broke and boy was it hot to handle.
