I'm a rig welder with a 1967 sa 200, I just replaced the starter and am looking for help wiring it back up its a different starter than my previous starter I got it from weld mart it's about half the size of the old starter. I have my positive battery cable and 2 wires coming from my ignition button. There's a post terminal on the bottom side of the starter and one on the top.so 3 wires, where do they go and is it "order specific"? Thanks yall.

Is there a brand name on the starter? If so, look online for a wiring diagram.

If not, give the shop a call where you bought it. At least ask, get their opinion first in case of warranty issues.

Not sure what the 3rd wire would be for, on a larger engine it would be a resistor bypass, but you don't see that much on small engines. Best to know first, too late if something smokes!

on some big battery cable and 2nd wire that supplys power to system,,, goes on big lug.... small wire to make it start goes on small lug...

I believe now I have everything hooked up
right and still nothing so I guess I'll go
be sure my battery is legit and give it a go
