Does any one know if they make a 6 volt battery tender, mizer,charger.All I ever see are for 12 volt.Thanks

Yes,I think Battery Tender brand makes a 6 Volt,I have one in the barn,not sure of the brand,Google it and you will find one.

Deltran makes one in just 6 volts. There are some other companies that make them that can be used on 6 or 12 volt system.

I have something called a battery maintainer that is switchable - 6 or 12 volts. It's similar to this one. I've had it for several years - I think it cost closer to $20 when I bought it. Works good for what it's intended.

I got 2 6 volt Battery Tenders. One came from the "Sportsman's Guide"(put in 6v battery tender in the search space) and the other came from the very large(to me) Walmart in Woodsville, NH. One goes on my '50 Ford and the other on my 1948 Farmall Cub.

Mike, I have no 6v batteries, but I do have a battery minder 12248 for the past 5 years. I will say the batteryminder is a great charger for 12v and mine came with a 5 year warranty. Highly recommend batteryminder. geo

I have a Schumacher from Amazon about $25 I used it on a 6 volt just yesterday. I have 2 of these, the other one is on a 12 volt car battery in storage works great.

I have six Schumacher battery maintainers. They automatically sense 6V or 12V. $19.95 at Walmart. They work great.

I have 5 of those Schumakers. 2 are on 6 volt tractors. One is on a 12 volt tractor. Another is on my 2001 one ton dually, and the 5th is on my zero-turn mower. Makes no difference which charger goes on which vehicle. The charger KNOWS if it is 6 volt or 12.

It's apparent when most people hear the term Battery Tender they think it's a generic term given to any battery charger. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have at least 6 Battery Tenders hooked to all my seasonal equipment. I have never had any battery failures including over charges since I have used Battery Tenders......
