Disposible gloves

Where do you get your disposable gloves. I do not use them very often. I picked some up at Lowes the other day, all they had were "One size fits all" -NOT

Harbor Freight has a selection of sizes, including extra large, and at least two different thicknesses. Nice selection.

The medical ones are better than HF ones. However, I'm currently using the HF ones since I haven't been inside of an exam room in a while....

Grab a couple from the Doctors office after the nurse leaves and before the Dr. comes in.....you will have plenty of time about 10-25 minutes. If there good enough for him there good enough for me.

Local dollar store has plastic 100-count (actually, I think it's 110 or 125-count) for a buck--I keep a bag handy in several spots where they're apt to be useful. They don't hold up for long, but are just the cat's meow for things like a quick Gorilla Glue job, emptying a rat trap, or all sorts of other (literally) quick-and-dirty jobs. For larger jobs I buy nitrile disposable exam gloves from the drugstore or the pharmacy section of the local Wal-mart. Sure does make you a popular feller when you've got a few spare sets with you when you show up to help a buddy gut a fresh road kill!

(quoted from post at 17:45:55 02/06/16) Grab a couple from the Doctors office after the nurse leaves and before the Dr. comes in.....you will have plenty of time about 10-25 minutes. If there good enough for him there good enough for me.

So....if you step out of your shop/house/etc. for a few minutes and your buddy/neighbour/customer/etc. slips something of yours into his pocket while you're gone....you'd be good with that?

Where Mechanics buy there parts are there tools... Advance auto parts ETC, Tool trucks.

Diamond Grip is about as good as it gets, I also use Glove Plus, Gloveworks orange nitrile gloves and what the BG man has on his truck...

You want nitrile gloves. Gempler's used to sell really nice disposable ones but recently their gloves are not really better than the ones at HF, just more expensive. So I generally wait till HF has a sale and then stock up.

I get mine at a local supply place called Hawkins bailey warehouse. Anyone from Indiana will know of one of the owners (Damon Bailey) or iu basketball fans. They have almost any kind. The ones I like are 8 mil with diamond tread grips on them. Seems to help when you are covered in oil. Also keep some thin ones around. Put them on and throw a pair of jersey gloves over top and your hands stay pretty toasty

I order them from Amazon also. Have bought them from Harbor Freight & Tractor Supply. You can get any type you want from Amazon & cheaper.

If I'm at fleet farm I go get a box of the blue milking gloves. Wear them at the farm all the time doing oil changes and other greasy, oily, or just plain slimy jobs.

The best I have found for using in grease and such are Permatex Brand an most parts stores keep them.

I can use them, hands sweat too much. I found a solution at Menards. They sell a glove that can breath. One side is rubber the back side is an elastic material. I use them all the time when working on tractor changing oil and grease. They fit so nicely, you can actually hold a bolt with one hand and the nut with the other, fits like a second skin. Also a great glove for gardening. They are strong and won't tear like most disposible gloves. Can find them on sale, cheap. Upside is you can run them through laundry and re use.
