restroom tool

Noticed in men's restroom on the divider wall they have security screws holding them on why ? They are put in with a regular flat tip screwdriver-is there a tool to remove them other than grinder???? Is someone going to steal the wall ??

Local high school. I have seen those silly kids take screws out of desks so the desk would collapse. Kids hide beer in the flush tank on toilets and %*$$ in the liquid soap dispensers. Put chewing gum in door locks. Want me to add more??

Yep, there is a special driver that installs and removes the screws. People will steal anything if it's not nail...screwed down.

Having once spent 5 years as Buildings and Grounds Supervisor for a public school district, I see a very good need for them.

In a public school, if there's any way possible something can be taken apart, some kid will do it just for the challenge.

One time waste baskets kept disappearing from one boys room. And the door to the boys room was across the hall from large windows in the school office and also where the hall monitor sat over lunch, so it wasn't likely that anyone could sneak out the door and down the hall with one.

I finally figured it out. Looks were deceiving. There was a girls room next to the boys room, and it appeared like the stools backed up to the same concrete block wall. The wall was, however, hollow with about 24 inches of space for access to plumbing. Those young hanyocks had figured out how to pick the lock on a plumbing access door behind one of the stools. I opened the access door, and there, neatly stacked, were 5 waste baskets.
