Has any one had any experience with a Milwaukee 18volt two speed grease gun?Just looking, they are $179.00 a pop,so would like to see some reports from you experts.
Thanks for any info.

i dont know about the milwaukee, i have had a lincoln for better than 10 years and its still going.

I bought an dewalt 18v grease gun when they first came out. Cheaper now. I would stick to whatever you have batteries for. All my cordless tools for past 15 years have been 18v dewalts. I have a total of 8 18v batteries and about every cordless dewalt tool on the market.

Had the 12v went to the 18v so all my batteries would interchangeable. I love the 2 speed wouldn't have anything but now. The light and pump selector are also handy. I really really like the button on the battery to check the life so I'm not walking off with a battery with only 10 pumps left. Only other way to go in my eyes is air but dragging a hose can be unhandy

I decided to treat myself this past year and got my first power grease gun. I was just going to buy the Lincoln that the dealers sell around here. One neighbor had an extra he wanted me to have. Another neighbor suggested I shop around. I wanted to start with a new one. I'm glad I did. I chose the Milwaukee 12V. I like that it has legs. It has a long hose and the best coupler end I've found. I can reach down in and grease the rotor drive pulley on my combine without climbing down in the hole. It reaches forward to the unload auger turret easily also. I don't know what advantage 18V would be, but then I've been living without until recently!

Mike Aylward, I like my dewalt grease gun. I have many zerks on backhoe that need greased often. I think they are selling for less than $150. No idea if my batteries will work in a Lincoln. Again I would recommend getting what you have batteries for, sooner or later the batteries will go bad, then the replacements will cost a pant load. I bought just the gun, no battery or charger. I do the same with all my cordless tools, buy just the bare tool. I have 8 batteries and 5 chargers. geo

I have the 18v milwaukee since i have the 1/2" impact, and it seems to blow my pneumatic out of the water. and yes, that 2 speed selector is great. It will pump the tracks on my trackhoe on the high speed with no problems. That low speed high pressure is claimed to be 10,000 psi. They also have a clear tube option and bulk grease option. It is brutal.

I too was planning on a cordless grease gun, but came across LockNLube Grease Gun Coupler this is the real deal when greasing heavy equipment saves grease & allows you to use both hands on grease gun, do some "lockNLube" searches on heavy equipment sites.Cost ($30.00) is a bit high but worth it.

We use those grease guns at work and have put thousands of tubes through it. The 18 volt has a preset number of pumps selector which is handy. They also prime very well. No empty pumps when you put a new tube in.

We have mostly Lincolns grease guns but I have a Milwaukee on my truck and it will out do all the others. Best grease gun I've ever used.
