Historic Event

I think this would be a very good use for this tool!

I drove a D9 like that at the CAT proving ground. I've driven a lot of smaller crawlers where you could feel through the seat of your pants what the crawler was going to do. There was no feeling at all in the D9; didn't like it.

I would add the President and Supreme Court!!! This country started out being for the people by the people and it needs to return to that. We have a "ruling" class that is worse than royalty.

I would also add a requirement that if your a LAWYER you can't hold political office. Laws do NOT have to be fifty thousand pages long. Plain old simple English is fine.

One of our past leader made a statement ( I can't remember who) "If the average everyday citizen has to worry about Federal law then there are too many federal laws". The original setup was for the states to write and enforce laws and such on the citizen, not the Federal government. The Federal government was to mainly apply to the states.

"if your a LAWYER you can't hold political office"

I would rather that rule be if you have not served in the military you can not be elected to political office especially president.
Political office is suppose to be serving the general public.
What better way to serve the general public than to start off your carrier on the front lines.

Service in the military should also be mandatory for politic office too. So I an very much in agreement with you.

(quoted from post at 10:13:23 01/17/16) Dummy mispelled "Evel".

Who cares if he misspelled it or not. I don't and neither should anyone else. It's the message that counts and that is really good.

Plus ALL members of Congress and the elected administration should be limited to a single 5 year term and prohibited from running for any other federal office once they have put in their 5 year term.

Good way to screw up a set of tracks running over all that BullS&It!!! Come to think of it can we include the canidates and wannabes?

(quoted from post at 15:36:56 01/17/16) We have term limits every four years. Who keeps voting these people back into office?

The people they keep giving free stuff to. Or at least the people that believe they will get free stuff.

>Who cares if he misspelled it or not. [sic]

If you're trying to show how clever you are, misspelling the name of a famous person pretty well proves you're not.

Greg_KY what model is that Quadtrack Cat? I never saw or heard about that before!
Thanks, Roy

I'm not trying to be clever and as you say maybe I ain't. That person made a good point and everyone knew who he was talking about and if someone didn't then they can join me in not being clever. BTW I'm not clever enough to know what [sic] means, clue me in.

Great idea, but I just wonder how he's gonna get all of them to agree to lay down there at the same time. There's bound to be some of them that will have to argue the point.

It means transcribed as written. It is for quoting something that is wrong so the reader knows the mistake is carried over from the original writer not the writer quoting the passage. My explanation may not suffice so just google it. If you quoted the joke sign you would need one.

Correct. The error in this case being a question sentence terminated with a period instead of a question mark.

I'm thinking if you read any newspapers you would kind of know that. Or at least seen it if not curious enough to look it up.

Sorry I even brought it up. A lot of us didn't go very far in school and don't know how to spell or make a sentence the correct way.
In the joke everyone knew what the person was saying and IMHO it should have been left alone. If he had named the wrong person that is another mater.
