Butch you must be fairly close to me. An hour north of Columbus puts you close to Fredericktown. We used a bunch of old silo staves to build fence. They stood for years.

Actually that is where I grew up. Didn't figure anybody would of heard of it, so went to the next biggest town. Did you go to school at Fredericktown?

Hey! we need to get together since its walking distance, LOL. We are near Lucerne, and NOBODY but a local would know where that is!

That would be a spot along the road that if you blink you miss it. LOL If you are near Lucerne ,you possible went to Fredericktown to school.

I can see the county line from my place. when was in school clear fork bus passed Fredericktown bus on county line north side was clearfork south side was fredericktown

For me the old home place surrouded a little place called Leedy Park. I used to ride that school bus that ran the county line. What year did you graduate from Clearfork?I was FHS 72.

Bryant, the old Rock place if you knew the area well, look for the old hit miss motor at the end of the drive. We purchased it last summer. Actually wife and I are not living there right at this moment due to remodeling going on downstairs but youngest son is living upstairs. I grew up a 1/4 mile too far South to go to Freddyville schools.

Lucerne isnt any more. Not sure when they lost the status and sign on 95 but it's been a few years ago? It is, was? the First little gathering of houses, Grange hall and a Church East of the county line.

Butch, know right where you are.Been up and down that road many times. Have done repair work on buildings for several of the area farmers. The Rock boys were just behind me in school. Won't hold it against you for going to Highland schools.
