I once wrote up something similar as a means to barbecue an entire deer, only I used a vice grips to turn the pole.

One of the gals in an insurance office where I worked got the idea to make up a company recipe book. So I wrote it up strictly tongue in cheek and submitted it. I started out with the statement, "Shoot and field dress one medium sized deer", and ended with, "Serves approximately 40".

It actually made the company recipe book.

Could do it with a windmill most any day here in NW Iowa. It would take a lot of firewood today......-12 F this morning. LOL

A true chef knows the upstream rainfall and starts the pig so when the creek comes up and puts out the fire the pig is done and the smoke and steam from the fire going out alarms the chef that the meat is done.

DAMN, Andy, you are a true gentleman storyteller and BS'r!

Dunno if anyone can top your tale!

As the stream rises the velocity of the water increases and as a result the machine runs faster and the cooking time is reduced
