Old, thought about you today.

The wabash river is about 25 ft and water is rising in my gravel pit which is about 30 ft below grade. No chance water will get in my house. I have multi-purpose shed I use most of the year as a shooting shelter in gravel pit. Then in spring, I pull it up to the yard and turn it into a greenhouse.

Well today, I decided to pull it to higher ground and thought about your flooding.

I'm slowly getting fences back up. Trying to get a bit of the chicken pen back up so I can let them out of there houses. Hard to work on a fence when every step you get a little taller due to the mud. Plan to move them both up to higher ground once I can get into the area with my truck and tractor r but right now all I would do is cut ruts and make a bigger mess

I also thought about you today. I saw that the gentleman from Muleshoe Texas posted on the blizzard there earlier this week. Is that the same storm that caused you and the south half of MO so much grief? I hope things turn around. I know most people prefer it to be above freezing, but a little cold weather could stiffen up the ground and help you out.

Today when i got up an around it was cold but the sun was also showing up so most places got sloppy fast. Did at least get the chicken pen back to where I could let them out around 4 today
