About 20 people in line at Lowes before they opened just before 5:00 a.m. I'm friends with the manager; she opened 4 minutes early. I went and got the AL folding work platform that I wanted, paid for it and was out the door in less than 10 minutes. I'll probably use that platform more as a stool than a work platform, but us old guys have to sit on something when we tinker in the garage.

The kicker in their advertised items is "While supplies last". Whatever they set out is their supply; there are no more in the back room so when that item is gone they move something else into that space that is at retail price. I expect those AL work platforms will be gone in 2-3 hours.

Did my shopping last weekend, as the sale items I wanted had all been discounted online. No crowds, and no city tax on whatever Brown delivers.

I was in Lowe's about 10:30 and they had about 80 of those work platforms still sitting there, I had one but grabbed another for that price. That was Battle Creek, MI.

You left the 99 cent led bulbs in the store? That was the best deal they had. Six bucks off the regular price here. Kids wanted some too so I picked up 47. That's $282 saved. Much better than the $20 or so we saved on the old man's platform no one will use but me.lol
