I picked up a Keller Tool Co rotary tool no. 1033. It has a 1/8" pipe thread opening not 1/4 as every other air tool . It is also described { if I search the patent number 2099280] as a hydraulic tool . This makes no sense because it must be pnuematic as it only has one opening . [ I mean what would it do spew spent hydraulic oil out some port?]. It also has a quick release chuck that takes 1/4" hex shaped shafts. Searching the patent makes me realize it is pnuematic but why would it be called hydraulic ? Anyone seen an air tool inlet in 1/8 pipe thread? Also has a grease fitting near the air entrance. Grand Haven Mich. Lots of other writing too.

Grease fitting.. that had better go somewhere other that the air motor. Like some of the old IR rattle guns that had a way of greasing the impact clutch through the back of the rotor.

dr sportster,Are you sure that 1/8" grease fitting hole is not for a return hydraulic line, and someone stuck a grease fitting in it for a plug.

My SIL has a backhoe that works that way, you put hydraulic fluid in it and it just spews it all over as you use it. Works for him.
