Hydraulic jack

I have a bottle jack that I have lost the rubber plug that goes into the oil fill hole.
It had a sticker on it but it has long worn off so I do not know the brand of the jack.
Size is 12 tons.

Who sells these rubber plugs so I might get lucky and match the size up?
I searched Napa and a couple of other places but can not find any info.

Thanks.

Is the hole close enough to a size you could thread and use a pipe plug or bolt?

Think I might have seen tapered rubber (neoprene) plugs in the little drawers at Ace Hardware.

Check with any place that does hydraulic work. When we get parts (pumps, fittings, tubes, hoses) in, they're usually plugged or capped, we throw them in a bin for re-use. Some automotive body shops may have body plugs, or rubber bumper buttons also.

My 10 ton jack lost that plug years ago. I whittled a piece of wood and tapped it in with a hammer. It sticks out about a half inch so I can add oil if needed.

Try your local hardware store. Look in the section with all the specialty fastener drawers. I've bought them there before.
