my air comp doesnt sound rite, not making as much noise as usual. anyone have any ideas? like it doesnt have as much power.
 
type your header line into your address line and hit enter. lots of postings for reviews, problems and comparisons. the postings talk about tank temps that will burn your hand. not a good sign...........................chuck.
 
Look for the obvious first, clogged air filter, slipping belt, etc.

If it's slow to recover chances are it has a broken reed valve. Some models have unloaders for easy starting, make sure it is working.

Usually pretty easy to work on, pull the head (heads), look things over. There will be an obvious problem once you get it apart.
