Cutting Trees in Denmark.

that's a plantation. Looks like it has been pruned 5-10 years ago to get those nice clear trunks.
 
Nephew has a Ponnsi and he dose cut a hole bunch of wood in a day but he has to make the payments and when it brakes down its thousands of dollars. Randy
 
Around here those would be considered saplings. They have bigger cutting machines, but they cant manhandle the whole tree like that thing does.
 

I like how the recorder let you see the whole picture instead of zooming in so that you can't tell what you are looking at.
 

Interesting that they are using a chain saw to cut with. Wonder if it has carbide teeth? I would have assumed a circular saw would last longer but maybe it's all in the speed.
 
Those are pulpwood trees. Not that old and breed to grow fast. Those machines look as if they are throwing around big tooth picks. That saw on them is most likely 3/4 pitch harvester chain. Around $10.oo per foot.
