Farm Trailer Dilema

A heavy old farm trailer, 17' long, 3' wide, made out of an old truck frame. I turned it upside down to replace the axle. Now my problem is how is the best way to turn it right side up without damaging the axle? The trailer also has a wooden bed on it. I do have a forklift.

How about blocking under the frame in front and in back of the axle then lifting and pulling towards the blocking until it has rolled right side up? Then just hook up to truck or tractor, and lift the back up to get blocking out.

Can you just reach over from the side, chain to the ends of the forks, lift and back up as it comes up, let it tip toward the forklift, ease it down? Shouldn't hurt the axle to roll it over, so long as it doesn't drop.

That's what I would do with a forklift. ^

or, chain off the forks lifting the side, lift it to 80 degrees, jam a post under it,
drive around to the other side.
hook the chain, lift, back up, to tip past 90 degrees, lower it gently.

Just a thought. Park it next to a big honkin tree and use the tree as a back stop. Lift it with a chain as others have said and a little over center till it bangs into the tree. Then lift on the out side slowly till you pull her all of the way over and away from the tree. With the fork lift.

Thanks everyone for your replies!
I think lifting it up on it's side, then putting a post under it, then lowering it back down in the opposite direction may work. Great ideas!
