What would you call it...

I recognize the material it's made from but have never seen one before (round/wheel shaped). Have had it for almost 20 years, found it in an investment property I bought. I want to advertise it to sell but can't figure out what to call it so folks will know what it is. I would call it an industrial sized whet wheel (stone). What do y'all think would be best???

A large arbour grind stone. Place I used to go past many years ago had piles of them from operations. They would crush them and remake them into new stones. I have a couple of pieces of huge flat disk stones. I use them to check how flat a surface is and gently grind it a little .

It is a grinding wheel. More than likely removed from a Cincinnatti-Milacron centerless grinder, used for grinding the outside diameter of the A ring for ball bearings. The wheel in the picture is worn out, that's why it was removed. It has no value, other than as an ornamental flower planter or something. The wheel was more than likely manufactured by Norton.

It's a large grinding wheel. Could be off any type of industrial grinder. Throw it away. I have operated large surface and cylindrical grinders and mounted wheels like that but only new ones. Any slight damage could cause the wheel to come apart when up to speed. I've blown up a few myself.

I'd use it for ballast. I doubt anyone would risk trying to grinding with it, or take the time to set it up. Is the label still on it?

Think outside of the box.
Advertise it as;
"Might have been a movie prop from the set of the Flintstones"
Somebody will probably pay you a few hundred so they can use it it for yard art.
