I dont expect a fancy spray job, just for 3 pt equiptment,I have a harrow I want to spray, and maybe some of my scaffolding frames

Would think the compressors would work. As you probably already know, don't forget to use a regulator on them. A friend of mine was at vo-tech years ago and we were chatting and he hooked up the spray gun and we heard a small "boom". He said "Crap".... lol. The bottom had a nice round curve to it.

You will need to add two things to either of them. #1 a regulator and #2 a water trap. Air with moisture in it will mess up a paint job fast

Dad had one like that. (Its in my shop now) Set your regulator/dryer to around 40 psi and thin your paint. It takes more air than you might think.

You need a gauge downstream of the regulator and if the gauge gets much below 40 psi, you will have to wait for the compressor to catch up.

I have one very similar, my dad bought it at an auction about 50 years ago! It works well, I have painted a couple of tractors with it, a green one and a red one, I'm sure it would spray blue paint too.

Ok I see you have a regulator on your compressor. YEA ! Now don't set it any higher than maybe 25 pounds when you have the trigger pulled. I have two real Devilbus [spell] guns and they both are happy at that pressure. Now even more critical !!!!!!!!!!!!!! go to HF or your local paint store and buy some in line air filters. They are 1/8 pipe and you can gently screw an air fitting into them and your hose. The BIGGEST thing about painting is go buy yourself a brand new air hose and NEVER use it for anything but painting. Any crud in the hose "oil is a killer" will give you fish eyes in your paint job. The hose and filters may run you $25.oo but your paint job will be Marveloussssssss! Mix the paint to correct specs. like 4 to 1 or 5 to 2 to 1 ETC. There are so many mixes and paints and you local paint mixer guy will fill you in. Most of them will give you a free mix cup with all of the mixes on it. Wash your gun out with MEK. It is powerful stuff and will clean anything out. Paint on a low humidity day above 70* if possible. The dryer the day the better the hardener works. Your paint job will be like a mirror ! Have fun and let us know.
