Last year there were a few guys that tested new antifreeze from WalMart and tsc and they were not very strong new in the jug. Wandering if anyone has put a tester to any antifreeze this year. It is time to go get some.
 
Windshield washer fuid: Be careful to read the label. My brother bought some in Oct and turned out to be summer mix (only colored water). Squirter system was frozen solid.
 
I bought some summer mix WSW fluid once and algae grew in it. Now I make my own: water, vinegar and alcohol - and no algae. Never drive where it freezes so don't have to worry about that.
 
I live in area that gets cold and only buy windshield washer fluid that is good for -30 below or better and use it all year round.
 
I would not buy premixed antifreeze. You are paying as much for the premix as the full strength and it is half water.
 
Not talking about premixed stuff. It was the full strength stuff that was not up to snuff.
 
I have never had problems with full strength anti freeze but never buy from discount houses or WalMart.
 
undiluted antifreeze will not protect as low a temperature unless mixed with some water-I think maximum protection is around 70% antifreeze and 30% water
