Briggs Stratton NPR 6 engine

I posted this in the Garden Tractor forum and posting it in this forum for assistance.
I have a Briggs & Stratton NPR 6 engine (Type 307066, Serial #1537787) I'm trying to get running. At this point it has no spark so possibly new points and coil is needed. Had a stuck exhaust valve but is free now. Everything is complete with no missing parts. Where would I be able to locate parts for this engine? What year was this engine made? It belonged to my grandfather's brother many years ago and I want to get it running again. Thanks for your assistance.
 
Before you put in new points and condensor, carefully check the key under the flywheel. If it is partially sheared the engine will not run.
 
I would take the fly wheel off and clean any rust off the the magnets and see if they are magnetized. Maybe that's all it would take to get spark.Also check the gap between the coil and flywheel. and clean the ends of the coil of rust or dirt while you have the flywheel off. Check on Google for info about Briggs. It has a lot of info about old Briggs.
