Had to evict Roxie. Can't allow anymore chickens to disappear. Lesson learned, close the coop door EVERY evening.

Take her at least 100 miles away before you open the cage, or she will be back. Better yet, have someone take her 50 miles out in the ocean and see if she can swim back.

I like coons when they're not in my garden, although I used to hunt them hard years ago. First night of the season the last year I hunted I shot 16 of them. When I was about 5-6 years old my brother caught a real young one, the thing tamed down just like a dog, our two dogs didn't bother it and it was free to come and go. It was around for a long time and died at home. I got a blue ribbon in the local fair parade pulling that coon in my wagon behind my Farmall M or H pedal tractor.
