Small Diameter Wire Rope Swage/Crimp Tool

Anyone have any experience with these, I'm looking at bench mount vs hand held. I don't necessarily need the most expensive, highest quality tool out there, but I see a bench mount on ebay just over $100. 1/8" and small size wire rope, nothing large or structural like for rigging. Its possible to get a fair amount of use, but not high production. Any thoughts?

I used a hand held chain saw rotary sharpener to put grooves into the jaws of a worn out bolt cutter I had . If you are careful and choose the correct stones the crimping grooves can be cut to exactly the correct size for great results . I left one part of the rear of the blades intact to cut cable with .
