32 34 rims

I have a W9 parts tractor with 34" rims & tires and a W9 with 32" rims and tires. I took the rims/tires off the parts tractor and they fit on the tractor with the 32" rims. WHY would they fit? Both hubs are 94 1/2" around. I am stumped.

Inside diameter is the same for both the 32 and 34.

I imagine if you look carefully at the rims you will see they were made differently. One must have a deeper drop in the center than the other.
