Bug bites revisited.

I was bitten by spiders in 3 different places while sleeping. Bites swelled up and were painful. Tried suggestions online to use hydrocortisone ointment - that didn't do anything. Next I tried Benadryl ointment, that helped a bit but not that well.

Yesterday afternoon I started rubbing the bites with Triple Antibiotic ointment; today the swelling is more than half gone!

May not work for everyone, but it is working for me. Available off the shelf.

Sprayed the spiders real heavy, don't see any more and haven't been bitten since.
 
I have had an extreme reaction to some bug bites for a few years, small mosquitoes seem to be the worst, and we have lots of them in N MN. I use a prescription cream called TRIAMCINOLONE 0.1%. I have had blisters as big as a dime, and I had enough on one leg to cause my whole leg to swell up. I wear a head net like a beekeeper a shirt treated with repellent and gloves when I am on our tractors. It sounds to me like you house needs to be sprayed! The condo that we rent in AZ had caretakers that spray quite often.
