My First Tool Challenge

Hello,

I was looking at an old memory card, and I found the picture of my first tool challenge! I did not know what year it was until I looked at the date, March 2008. What kind of tool made this chops was the question. Anyone remember the answer?

Electric sheet metal nibbler?.
My brother has one but that one leaves a coiled strip about 1/8" wide.

On second thought it might be a key way broach.

Looks like chips from a metal planer to me, Roots Blower had two nice big ones that made chips like that making impellers for the rotary blowers all day, no there were three, two in shop one, and one in shop two, that us a heck of a place to watch them work.

Hello,

I did not think it would become another tool challenge. Hope it was just as much fun the second time around. I saw those chips on the ground, as I was working on my wood pile, so I picked some up and thought it would be a good tool challenge. I don't remember if any one guessed the answer, it is not easy to stump this board! may be not. Anyhow, here is the picture of the tool that made those chips,
