Well I went to the doctor yesterday and he said it definitely is a spider bite I had on my hand. He gave me some antibiodics to take. It's actually cleared up a lot since I posted the picture on Monday. Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still alive and kicking.

Big question is did you kill the spider because it bit you??? Not as in you hit it but it died from the fact it bit you??? LOL

good to hear. That's why I wear boots, jeans, long sleeved shirt, ball cap and leather gloves when I'm working in a "natural area".

Some nasty Brown Recluse spider bit Mrs B&D. After three days of writhing in agonizing pain, the spider died.

Be grateful it wasn't an Australian White tail spider . These bring shivers to the strongest of men. A frequenter of clean washing still in the basket and boots left outside . Horrible things that can cause you to lose a limb . While venomous it is actually a necrotising bacteria that lives in the spider's mouth that causes the damage . Don't view these images if you are Arachnophobic or squeamish.
