Wescott Chuck Co

I have acquired an old lathe in really usable shape with 3 jaw and jaw chucks. The 4 jaw is a Wescott Chuck Co #5909 but one of the drive screws is split. Do I have any hope of finding a replacement? Thanks for any advice.

Anything produced once can be re-produced. As long as you have an example to work from any decent machine shop should be able to make you one. Now, how much it will cost? That's another thing altogether.

Probably not, a lot of the old stuff was proprietary. But you know what they say about a lathe being able to reproduce itself.. Make this your first project and let the fun begin.
