I carry one of the folding utility knives on my belt and use it most of the time in lieu of a pocket knife, but the problem I run into is that the back edge (inside handle) is already dull when I pull the blade out to turn it around. Does anyone know of one that has some kind of a protector in the channel to keep the rear of the blade from getting dulled on the metal channel?

put a little making tape over the blade, then peel it off when you need it. mine has extra blade storage in the handle, and they will dull from banging around in there.

My grand daughter got me a dewalt folding utility knife for my 66th birthday. I'm a
dewalt fan. Have about every tool they sell. My kids say I'm hard to buy for, so they
check out to see what Dewalt has and I don't. This is the best folding knife I've used
and I use mine many times in a day. There is a place to store extra blades too. I love
the way it fits my hand.
