Hello,

Its a Stihl TS 350 Super, I'm hoping I can get it going so I can cut some corrugated steel.
It has a new blade so that is good. It is a lot heavier then I expected. Is anyone of you have one of these saws?

Is that the old style that converted into a chain saw or brushcutter? I bought a cutquik of that type in 1980 & still use it today.

I'm not sure if that beast will convert to a chain saw. I know one thing, that is a heavy saw! I'll post later after I get it going and let you know if that beast converts or not,

With that saw cutting corrugated tin better get a piece of plywood and set it next to the cut and stand on it. Metal blades tend to grab at sheet metal.

I got the saw running to-day. It sounds good and throttle is responsive. I have 4 sheets of corrugated steel I will cut all of them together, I will fasten them together and then screw them on a 1/2" in piece of plywood, leaving the portion to be cut past the plywood. I will cut 8" at the time. I should nave enough to sink them down around my garden. The material was free and the saw is a loner. Cost is just my time to get it running. I think the owner will be happy to have it back working again,

Yup, that is it exactly! Converts to the 08S chainsaw, .404 pitch 17" blade. Different blade entirely from Stihl 16" & 18" blades. Same blades that fit the 075 & 051 saws. Converted also to a brushcutter & 2-man posthole auger & one man ice auger. Those attachments fit onto the clutch as does the metal cutting arm.

Thanks for the info. I downloaded the Manual for the beast. It is running the blade all the time. I thought it was a direct drive. I'll have to see if I can get it to idle down.
I need to cut those sheets before it gets too hot first,
