I saw one for $24 dollars at Farm and Fleet. I think it was 3000lbs cap. and was able to lift from 5" to 13". Any thoughts on this jack?
thank you

I've bought two larin small floor jacks maybe 2000 or 2500 lbs. Also several larin bottle jacks 4 ton. Non of them currently work any more. They leak the oil out and stop working. I bought some hydraulic jack oil to refill them. They have a rubber plug which is difficult to get back in. Anyway mine never held up. I have a 25 year old k-mart floor jack which still works good. I bought my larin jacks at farm and Fleet in Wisconsin. They were cheap enough but were not reliable. Just my experience. Richard

Probably OK for use as a screw jack replacement only. For as long as the seals hold up. At 25 lbs total weight, I doubt it's stable and rigid enough for lifting a whole front end of a vehicle.

I have an engine crane made by Larin. Been using it for over 20 years, and it seems to hold up OK. Only thing to watch out for is that it will creep down overnight, so never leave a load on it.
