What are these?

Came across these items in a box of stuff the neighbor gave me.
The one tool looks like it is used to slice or cut something like linoleum and the other looks like some kind of screw driver but I don't understand what the round pin is for.

I don't know, but I really like that finger rest thing on the razor blade. Seems like a really good idea - comfortable to use.

the 'screwdriver' with the pin may be a rifle tool. screwdriver blade for sight adjustment, disassembly of certain screws lock a firing pin retainer in a bolt and the pin for pushin button catches. Note SKS sometimes calls for a bullet point to pushin catch or 'sight adjusting tool pin ordinance kit ###' and the AKs of some types- RPK squad automatics' had similar tools issued to sergeants of squad for some adjustment not left to conscripts. Some military issue arms are meant to be relatively easy field strip with almost no tools with as noted a bullet point used for push pin--and the small tools make it easier for a ordinance officer or repairman to do it easier. A large can opener is good to use on tin cans- but a P38 folding opener fits into side pocket of troop much easier for their individual light use. Small 3 screw drivers and pin for getting rifle or light machine gun part disassembled for cleaning and front or back sight adjustment, open up bolts and gas tube/pistons in field is handy. If it had a recessed fork at one end for front sight it would look more like a SKS tool- slight bend screwdriver sort of like a Number 3 front sight or BREN gun front sight tool piece for windage in straight slot of adjuster. You might be right. The screw drive looking thing is stamped U.S. and then a number. The other side is atamped N.S.R and then a number.

Thanks

I think you will find it says "N.S.N."(NATO Stock Number) Can use that number and the internet to figure out what it is and where it came from. 13 digit number... first two will tell you country of origin. 00 through 10 are USA.

I Googled the N.S.R. number and found it is a combination take down tool for a Springfield model 1903.
The N.S.R stands for National Slug Rejectors, St. Louis, MO It was a world war II issue.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

It is a designed precision control tool. I cant make out the blade. If it does have a razor blade in it and not carbide steel it is not a glass cutter. I think it may be for cutting windshields out of the rubber.it is to cut something with curves. as in a curved corner of a windshield...but then again who knows, it could be a curved leather cutter..."Alex, what is a leather cutter for curves..."Sorry that will cost you..." The answer is "what is a castration tool for pigs"LOL...MTP

Springfield 1903 and No. 3 Enfield are about same design time vintage, My No3 'sporterized' marked US property supposed to have been issued with small combination tool and long bayonet originally- so seemed a logical guess that was a similar rifle tool. SKS has the bayonet attached, has a wide slot screw pivot that needs screwdriver and a punch pin for the sight lifting for the gas cylinder/tube removal made easier. RN

The cutter has a old double edge razor blade in it. The blade is set at a given cutting depth and is not adjustable.

very interesting tool to say the least. I was hoping someone would know what it was for certain. {OK then "final answer" I think, but I also have my doubts}as I'm sure I'll think of something else lol...a gasket cutter for the do it selfer, before the exzacto knife was created... maybe that's my final answer lol... Thanks for bringing it to show and tell today lol...MTP
