GPS as a tool for tools

A tool to find sales and buy more tools . Tom Tom can't get a sattelite signal and it has been a few days . Hooked it to computer for updates but still no signal.?????

I replaced my Tom Tom maybe six months ago. it was taking it longer and longer each time that I turned it on for it to acquire satellites. I think that I read that it is an indication of them going bad.

That is an absolute sign that the internal battery is nearly dead. Meaning it can't remember the timing from the last time it was used so
it must "re-learn" (for lack of a better term) where it was, is, and when.

I have a rather expensive Garmin aviation moving map GPS that was acting up the same way. I googled the problem and found someone had put up step by step instructions with pictures. Try doing the same for your model. I'm sure many more were made than mine so you could get lucky.

Purchased battery for my TomTom on line for $25.00. Comes with tool for install. Used for about one year and purchased a new Rand McNally for our RV. t has lfe time maps. Really like it.
