I had a need to cut some sheet metal in a very confined space, so I was looking for a better Cutting wheel to go in my Dremel. I found this:

I don't often use my Dremel but every now and then it is indispensable. This EZ lock system makes the cutting wheel actually work, and I was amazed at how much I was able to cut with it. There are various wheels that will snap onto the special mandrel

I use a Black & Decker rotary tool because it is more powerful than a Dremel. I use the little cutoff discs to sharpen carbide saw blades. That takes awhile, but with care I can get them sharpened better than the guys with the sharpening machines. I wouldn't be without a rotary tool.

I had not seen those before. I need to get some as an add in with my three inch and four inch thin metal cutting wheels.

I have had some of the EZ Lock tools for a while, and they are easier to change, but if you buy the fiber reinforced wheels for the standard arbor they cut just as well as the EZ Lock. Plus most of the time the standard mandrel ones are cheaper

I've worn out 3 Dremmel tools. Now using a heavier duty unit from True Value Hardware. Better, ceaper. Very valuable tool. Go
through a a lot of those disks. Have to keep on the lookout for more - They aren't kept well in stock.

Thanks for the tip. I did not know about that ez lock set up. Just ordered some cut off and grinding wheels and also the sanding drums ez set up.

My Dremmel broke years ago. I started using my compact air die grinder with a 1/8" collet for all my Dremel attachments. Works great!

I have an air grinder set up to use 4" cutting disks about the handiest tool I have it does take a pretty good compressor to keep it going full blast.I have 2 cylinder air compressor run by a 12 HP Kohler engine mounted on a trailer to run air impacts, drills
etc very handy around the farm.

If you think Norton is good (which they are, don't get me wrong) try out some 3M cubitron wheels. I had Norton wheels before that at the last shop I worked at and then a sales rep gave me some of the 3m ones to try. Wow. Just wow. That's all I can say.
