Time shown for postings

Are all times shown for postings on this site displayed as Pacific Daylight Time (or Pacific Standard Time when that applies), or are the times for other parts of the country and other parts of the world adjusted to display their own time? For instance, right now it's a few minutes after 9 AM, PDT. When I post this, that's the time I will see posted. If you are where it's Eastern Daylight Time and you respond right now, it would read 9:10 (M/L) for me, although by your clock it's 12:10, right? What time does the posting show for you?

Good question. I will post this from here in SW Ohio at 6:35 PM and see what it shows when I enter thepost.

Thanks. Yours reads 15:51 here, and BillOHIO's reads 15:38. I'm assuming they read the same for you. It kind of changes my attitude about what hours other people keep.

Click on your profile, scroll down to time zones, select your time zone, hit submit, posts will show now in your time zone.

This is in the much feared modern view. Classic? I haven't a clue.

The default setting is West coast time but you can change it to what you want. When you open your profile you have the option of what time zone you want to use. It is based off of GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) so for me here in the US Central Time Zone I have min set to GMT + 5. The result is I see the time postings were made based on central time and not the time those from other time zones would see on their postings.
