Chain saw update

I got the Husqvarna 137 back together tonight after replacing the oil pump, spark plug and sprocket. It is a 12 year old saw that my dad had the first 6 years. I think this is first time it has been apart, so not bad. I took my 2 chains in tonight to get sharpened, so should be ready to use next weekend.

I ordered the parts from Jack's Small Engines and the service was great.

Good Evening David

I just finished up a 137 for a guy here . I had to do a carb. job, Change the spark plug , & Sharpen the chain .

Starts good I called him & told him it was ready for pick up . I have my own chain Sharpener .

$10 on the saw, I think its still $6 off the saw.

The difference is we clean the bar, saw and cover before we re- mount and adjust the chain.

We charge 4-5.00 to sharpen a chain, off the saw, where I work at, in central IL.

I get 12 0n saw , 6 off up to 24 in 10 -12 for for the bigger ones . About what all shops here charge . Midway has an automatic sharpener. chuck the chain up , adjust it and walk away . Wonder what that cost ?
