Big improvement in computer speed......

Our computer has been having some "gliches" and was getting slower. Bought a new modem this morning and computer is faster than I can type now. It had me looking at a new computer, but apparently all we needed was the new modem.

Shucks; I was ready to buy that new All-In-One computer at Sam's this morning. Guess I better keep our old computer until it dies now that it's working great.

i have an ancient e-machine computer here at the shop that i use fer web surfin. its an old piece of junk. when it gets real slow, i take it out in the shop and bl;ow it out with the air gun. seems to help. i'm pretty tek-y that way!!!

Didn't work for me. Took that air hose & blew all over me, head to toe, but still moving about as slow as ever!

Download the free version CCleaner and run the registry cleaner. It will make your computer faster by cleaning up all the invalid registry commands left over from installs. Also remove any "cookies" from the internet that slows down the browser.

Computer will boot faster, shut down faster and run a bit faster..ie much like when new. The registry must be in memory at all times and typically there will be up to 6000 invalid entrys in an old machine. Talk about run faster.....
