Got some time to finnish my brother's 1/2 scale wagon today. Started with some formed 1 1/2x2 channel, cut 3" long then cut at 20°. I welded them rather than bolted, figured he wasn't going to need to move them anyway.

Next I cut some flat for fillers on the braces so they looked more original.

Jon f mn,

Nice work.

Do you put any special marks on your creations?

I know a man that had two metal stamps welded together at an odd angle and he would stamp each item that he made.

Just curious, and thanks for the pictures and daily funny.

I would give it to you if I had one. I would be happy to explain anything you don't understand about the build. The early part of the build was posted 2 weeks ago if you missed it.quit

Jon that is some real fine work.

I know you used to run a repair shop. With your skills you could easily be busy all of time around here. There is always a lot of these type of repairs going on around here with the concentration of livestock in this area.

I can see there not being the demand in high grain areas but here your skills would be in demand.

Once again NICE WORK!!!!

Sure, e-mail is now open. But for that I would probly prefer a call, I can talk while driving but won't e-mail. So sometimes going back and forth can be troublesome. My number is 320-492-9077

Jon I am serious. There are two shops right here in town that stay swamped all of the time with repairs like you have shown on YT over the years.

Is the area your in depressed or just grain only???

My middle son is on the home farm and is doing general shop an repair work to help with income. He is 3-4 months behind right now. He has 3-4 bale movers to get made before summer hay season.

I showed him your wagon and he said to hire you. LOL

The problem is the cost of a building. I would have to be in Cambridge to make enough and an inadequate building costs $2,000.00 a month and a good one over $4,000.00. On a whim I checked out a small building about 5 miles out of town a couple weeks ago. It' not in use right now, but is tied up in forclosure.

Excellent work. You know, you could maybe build another one and sell it. Im betting there are people out there who would like something that size. That looks better than a full size one.
