Wondering what to spend the money on.

Received cards in the mail from Lowes yesterday.

One card give $15 off if I buy $50 worth; that's a 30% discount. The other card give $50 off if I spend $250; that's a 20% discount.

I have until March 16 to use either card.

Lowes has some neat Kobalt sockets and a very handy pair of side cutters that require about 1/2 the amount of pressure to cut as the regular ones

Or you could not go to Lowes and go to Menards and even without the discount it still may be cheaper ?
Lowes in our town is HIGH PRICED on many items.
Many people drive the extra miles and go to Menards.

in my opinion ,kobolt are the worst tools i have ever used... the slegde hammers do not ever hit with solid blows they just bounce and vibrate,,,the picks,maddock,just fill your shoes with dirt..never pulls out earth to knock it off with hand like a good pick would......opinion......dewy

Ya But look at all the money I saved! I only spent $165 but I saved over $100 buying them on sale! BTDT you can never win so don't even try! As the old saying goes " Happy wife happy life ". The coupons are probably only good for stuff at regular price, and many things go on sale for more of a discount than that.

The hard thing is to know when they'll go on sale, but here's how you do it: Wait and watch the ads until you get disgusted and just buy it with your 20% off coupon. It will then go on sale the next week, at half price.

Another Harbor Freight "like"- if an item you buy goes on sale for less than you paid within the next 30 days, they'll refund the difference. I did that, and they were fine about it.

I walked every aisle in the place and couldn't find enough things that I needed to get to the $50 minimum, so I just went home.

Wife now has ideas how to spend $35 to get $50 worth of goods so we'll go back in a day or two.

Starting to see more of those type of coupons. The same stores issue them every so often. If I have trouble finding something to use a coupon for, I just wait until I do need something and then use the next coupon they send.

I think I was married to her sister. My wife would and did have me drive thirty miles. Just to save a dollar. Tried to explain to her that we spent more than a dollar in gas. All I heard was.But I got it on sale. So I just shut up and drove.

ounds to me you ain't saving any,..you'll be $235 deeper in the hole if you use the cards.
These gift cards only save you some if you really in need of a certain tool.
