Hello

What are any of you doing to get well. I've got it pretty good. I know what will cure it, but It can't see it coming yet......

Guido.

Well Saturday and Sunday it was in the upper 60 so I got out and did a few things that I have put off. Haul a number of wheel barrel loads of manure to the garden. I would do 2 then take a break for a bit then do another 2 loads. The goat house needed to be mucked out pretty bad and so did the horse barn. And now today the temps and now around 45 out so clod again

What is cabin fever!
I don't don't mind winter, winter is leisure time,...it gives me time to do things in the shop that i have no time for during the summer.
And it gives me a more than welcome break from cutting that pesky lawn every 4-5 days,...I just hate that job!

This cold weather cannot get shop warm enough to work in. Also not big enough to get in what I need to work on.

went and played some music at the open mike this weekend,,,trying to get the nerve up to post it on t tales,,,,Neil Youung heart of gold,,,hope they have a heart of gold when they hear it on t tales....lol

Lawn? Why do you grow grass? That's a choice. No lawn mower lives here. Life is better.

I had two good hikes today. Checking on neighboring land that has logging going on, without bothering to mark the property line. Normal for them. Last time I called to say that if their loggers crossed the line, I'd have the landowner's azz in court. Not simply for the value of the stolen trees, but replacement.

Today I discovered survey tape more than 50' inside their side of the line. Maybe I made my point.

If they'd asked, we could have marked the line together.

C'mon Larry, show your cojones. How bad can you be?

Spent some time with an oral surgeon this afternoon, finalizing an implant. He spent much of January in Chicago, seeing Buddy Guy in Buddy's club. Now, that's a reason to head to Chicago in January.

Not that I did.

I am with you. I try to walk 40 minutes a day. It makes my heart doctor happy. I walk in the high school after school. Warmer than outside = Has a bathroom, can not beat that. J.

I walk in my old gravel pit. Many trails for go-cart and kaw mule. Walking up and down the hills is good for my back and hips. Not to mention a nature trail. It's about 30 ft below grade, so very little wind, feels warmer.

In spring I have a 3 wheel bike to peddle. Usually do 4 miles to stay young. Last time I saw a heart Dr. and did a stress test, passed with flying colors.

I have the planter out in front of the shop getting it ready. It is still a long ways away but when I am ready I want that thing ready to roll. After that it will be the field cultivator, then the disk, then the 8430. I may need A LOT of winter.

Cabin fever?!! Right. You don't know what I'd give to be able to stay inside so much I got cabin fever! If you got it bad, come on up and I;ll find plenty of stuff outside in the fresh, crisp air for you to get rid of any cabin fever!

When it's too hot, I get up before the sun. Quit by noon, too hot.

When it too cold, I stay inside until about noon, let it warm up, then go to work.

Sunlight, exercise and good conversation all help a lot for me. Sit by a bright window, visit someone, go for a walk inside or outside, clean up the work bench, sort out the closet or old clothes, etc. Worst case shovel snow from one side of the sidewalk to the other if you have to. Walks, snow shoeing or cross country skiing are fun on a nice day.

I got it bad too, think I am stuck in lazy boy--zero outside with a foot of snow, my brother in law in Florida goes fishing every day--wish I was there !!

Hello

I do get my exercise rain or shine. I do have problem staying warm though. 10 degrees yesterday and breeze.I stacked wood from the wood pile to the back of the house and a full cart in the garage,
