26 inch inserted sawblade for a Gravely

Gravely once offered a 26 inch rotary saw blade for their convertible mowers. Any idea on where to buy a 26 inch carbide tipped blade? The center hole needs to be around an inch inch diameter. They were for cutting woody brush.

They show up on Fleabay now and then. I have several Gravelys but not that damn thing. TOOOO scary for my taste. They even had that 1/2 inch pitch chain saw unit. Used the same drive unit that the rotary plow and roto tiller units. Great machines and loads of stuff to hook to them. Check out the TeraMight back hoe that was made for them!

You get carbide and the first rock you hit you're going to be taking the blade to a saw shop to have a new tooth brazed in...if you can find someone that does it. Might be better off finding a 24-26" carbon steel blade. You can sharpen them yourself.

I bought a dewalt 15 inch circular blade to put on a DR string clone. It didn't cost that much. I just couldn't get it to attach the way I wanted. I think it had a one inch hole. It was carbide. You might try looking for a smaller blade with a one inch hole.

Please find a steel blade and stay away from carbide. If you hit a rock or a piece of steel with carbide you're gonna have all those teeth flying just like they were launched from a machine gun only you have no idea which way they will go.
