Why did I wait all these years to finally get a new hacksaw ? Wife bought me a new one for Christmas--it was on my list. All these years been using old junks saws that blade would either flex or come off. Used it today and works great, sometimes it's the simple things that matter.

I have a Millers Falls frame that was my Dad's. At a guess, I'd say it's from the 40's.

If it is like this one it will serve you well the rest of your life. I've had this one going on 10yrs. now. As said below the blades seam to last forever, in a good frame. It has a handy storage compartment in the top tube, and the best part is the nuckel guard. The Dewalt blades cut fast and very durable.
