Hello,

It is been awhile since the last challenge.
How old is my stove?

Assuming you installed the stove at the same time the formica counter top was installed...I would guess mid 1980's. So about 30 years old.

Hello.

Not new. Here is a old set of grates. We are now on the 3rd set,

Hello Gary Mitchell,

Me too! I make too much of a mess, and that goes for the victuals as well, HA!HA!

That looks like the one that my Italian mother has. Cooks on it 3x a day. Has canned at least 300 quarts of tomato sauce on it per year and has fried more more eggplants than you can shake a stick at for the last 40 years.

Dads job is to clean it every night. Still looks brand new.

OK Guido, assuming your stove came with the grates and not an accessory you added after market, I'm going to guess mid to late '90's and possible made by GE. (GE, Hotpoint, Kenmore)

Hello Chuck(CA),

Newer grates, third set, in the picture. Old one we now use for heavy duty cooking......... AKA canning,

Hello Mike (WA),

I Take no credit for its condition! New 2003, SWMBO keeps it that way. 3 squares a day and many canning sessions later. I do keep the oven side clean though...........

Guido.
