MobileTrac trailer tires

I won't buy Chinese tires period. Look for Korean brands if you need to go that route , Hankook , Nankang , and several American sounding brands come from there , and are fair quality...

maybe two years ago there was a thread about Chinese tires. The conclusion was that some that are made to a major manufacturers specs in China could be perfectly good and that the same manufacturer could also have a price point grade made there that would be much lesser quality. I would expect that Mobile trac is a Chinese brand and dubious quality.

It is real hard not to buy Chinese tires. The name brand does not mean a thing. With some companies you can have two identical tires, one coming from Indonesia, Viet Nam or else where and the other from a Chinese factory.
Your best bet is to stick to a reputable brand regardless of the country of manufacture.

I bought a tube for my 8N, (Hank), back in 2011 or 2012 for about 30 bucks. The next year I was at a different store and when I went to purchase 2 more of the same size tubes there, they wanted to charge me twice the price I'd given the previous year so I let them keep the tubes. I went back to the original place that had sold me the $30 tube. Low and behold, they too wanted 60+ dollars each for the tubes. She told me that although the Chinese tube that I had bought from her was really cheap, they had so much trouble with them that service calls had eaten them up so they had to go back to American made tubes. They sold Firestones.

Just my experience. gm

I have many trailers, some had cheap tires on them, others had American name brand tires. I thought I had an alignment problem with a few of the trailers. Turned out to be bad china tires. Alignment was perfect according to the trailer shop.

Not sure how old you are but at my age I don't want to change tires any more. Its not that I can't Its that I don't want to. With that said, Im willing to pay more for good tire.

Yes I'm with you I'd rather gargle dirt than breakdown old tires
