Wire up electric motor

I have taken electric motor from trash compactor to use in old coin ride for kids. I am inserting the schematic. The motor will run either way but it makes no difference which way. I'll be using it just 1 way. I am wanting to take Hot and neutral along with ground and go straight to motor.

That motor uses and external starting switch and capacitor. If you just connect to the motor terminals, both the running and starting windings will be on until it heats up and burns out the starting winding.

I don't know if the capacitor and external start will work without all of the connecting circuitry and a load.

I've got the whole compactor. If I take the capacitor and switch and put in, will that work? If so tell em how. Looks like a capacitor is in the red line, it that the one?

If I'm seeing the schematic right...

L1 to T2

L2 to T6

Jump T1 to T5

T4 to cap to T6

Should work, somebody better double check me though!
Other concern, is this a continuous duty motor? There is an overload protector, just be careful, the motor will restart by itself when it cools down.

Steve, Diagram is too big and I don't remember
how to downsize on screen.

I would remove all wires that are not necessary.
The rest is straight forward like any cap start
motor.

L1 is power, it will go to T2 the thermal
overload.

Thermal overload will go to left side of start
winding. I would also run the wire off the
overload, T1, to the red wire, right side of
capacitor. Leave the other red wire on cap where
it is.

I would connect the right side of end switch, T5
to T6 and T6 back to common, L2. Then later ask
how to reverse direction if needed.

Check my work too.
