Has anybody bought one of these. Just wondered if they worked. Your suppose to drill the head of a bolt or screw then turn the bit around then extract it.

I don't know if it works but I got a set for Christmas. It looks like it might be ok on small screws and bolts but don't know if its built strong enough for larger stuff.

I was given a set for Christmas as well. I have not tried them yet but do not have much faith in what they will do. The cutting edge on the drill part is very dull. Maybe on soft screws they MAY work.

used a few couple time to time work good. I don't think we bought them though, just a here you can use them, "make these disappear" deal

Got a set for Christmas last year and they work
good on screws up to 1/4" unless the screw has a
hardened head. Don't work on straight slot screws.

I just viewed a video review. It shows that it works unless the screw is hardened. It appears to me that the key to it is that the drill end is left handed so it will will loosen some while drilling.
