welding table

Slick, I just replaced rotors on one of my cars, I guess I will keep them around for a while and put it on my list of things to do.

When I was trying my hand at metal sculpture about ten years ago, I built a sort of gimbal contraption that would allow me to rotate a piece up to about 30" in diameter through three dimensions, as well as sliding up and down along the grounded steel posts that were in each of the stick welding booths in the college's old welding shop (since demolished and replaced with a state of the art shop that isn't as much fun). Typically, the jigs and devices I created to facilitate a process were more fun than working on the sculpture itself.

Why would I need to teach him? Back in my younger days I used to braze oily cast iron overhead. Can he do that?
