Local blacksmith posted that a few years ago...sure helped me when I needed to refill the bolt bin....plus explain why I had a few difficulties in repairing a few machines. All of a sudden, it came to me....cuz I could relate to some of those illustrations....

They forgot the Triangular shaped bolt with the Square Threaded section.

Wow, that brings back some memories. I have a rendering copy of those bolts made on a "ditto" machine (anyone remember those?) from when I was in the Navy 45 years ago.

I remember a charge similar to that hanging behind the parts counter at the local IH dealer. The parts guy there was quite a character, a lot of guys stopped there just to bs and drink coffee.
