Redline Electric Brakes

Has any one used Redline Electric trailer Brakes made in china. I'm looking at 12 x 2 brakes compelte with backing plate for $61.99. Sounds like a good price. I need 8 to go on a 12 ton trailer I'm fixing up to sell. Thanks

Unless you have a really nice trailer, you will never get your expenses back out of it. Just my observation.

I can't think of a single Chinese product I have ever purchased that I was satisfied with. I wouldn't even consider a safety related product , no matter how long I was going to own it .....

I'd say if you're going to buy cheap chinese brakes you might as well get the cheapest ones you can find. These are about $45 each.

I put Chinese brake shoes on one axle of my trailer, big mistake. I will only put 1st quality Dexter on. One problem with the fail of those cheap brakes will cost you more than if you paid for first quality in the first place. It's like the old oil filter commercial....pay me now or pay me later.

I bought a Chinese engine for lawn mower 6 years ago, paid less than it would have cost me to rebuild. I have been very satisfied with it. Side note, I used to not buy anything imported until one day I was ragging a guy about him buying a Jap pickup. He said mine was made in USA and your Crown Victoria wasn't. I checked and he was right.
